Shelter Management Group (SMG) is a locally owned and operated management company serving Las Vegas Valley homeowner associations.
There is a strong need for high quality management services for Las Vegas area homeowner associations and their homeowners who are still in a very challenging economic environment. We are a company that holds itself to the highest standards as the very health and stability of our managed associations depends on our expertise and abilities.
We look to serve the following:
- Single Family Homeowner Associations
- Condominium Owners Associations (including conversion communities)
- Mid-Rise and High Rise Condominiums
- Mixed-Use Developments
- Master Plan Community Associations
- Age-qualified Developments
- Declarant (Builder) Controlled Communities
Our Goal: Professional Management That Feels Personal
We focus on bringing our assets, resources and experience to bear with every client in a way that other companies struggle to provide. We feel that most associations don’t necessarily benefit from a management company that has hundreds of clients in the U.S. and abroad. Associations want someone who knows their neighborhood, their local municipality and most of all; associations want a management company that can meet their needs by providing them with professional, personal attention.
In addition to the community association manager (CAM) assigned to their association by Shelter Management Group, SMG also assigns an account executive as an additional liaison to association board members. The account executive works with the CAM and the association board to assist in on-going issues as well as strategic, long term planning.
Shelter Management Group believes in creating a transparent environment, easy access web portals for both board members and homeowners, the use of communications systems and accounting tools that are not only easy to use now, but adapt well to future industry and governmental changes.
Finding the Right Balance
Shelter Management Group looks to provide its association boards the best support and management services possible though direct communication with the boards as well as coordinating with various vendors, attorneys, insurers etc.
Conflict resolution is an area we feel is essential to communities running as smoothly as possible. Disputes and disagreements are inevitable in community management. The goal of a good management company is to find solutions born of fairness. An association or management company that simply looks to impose itself on its homeowners can easily develop into an unhappy community experience and expand liabilities, instead of reducing them. Good communication and a willingness to find out all the facts of a situation in order to resolve issues are staples we encourage.
